Men-Women Handicap Conversion Charts 

Wednesday Senior Men’s League 55 + over 

This year’s Wednesday Senior Men’s League will start on April 2 and run until September 24. It begins at 8 a.m. and consists of 24 rounds during the season.
Open to members and guests with a Golf Canada Handicap. This year, we will do a one-time sign-up for the full 26 weeks. This is a great chance to play with other members, especially for those who have just joined Mount Brenton Golf Course.
League scramble dates: May 28 and Sept. 27.
Sample Schedule
1^st Wednesday of each month: Regular play
2^nd Wednesday of each month: 2-player net best ball game or scramble.
3^rd Wednesday of each month: Singles or Doubles Match Play
4^th Wednesday of each month: 4-player Scramble
We will automatically add your name to the weekly tee times list if you join. We send the list to the pro shop on Saturdays. Please advise us of any weeks you can’t play. If you can’t make your tee time for that week, it goes to the pro shop.
It is up to you to call the pro shop to cancel.

Bronze Ladies
Mount Brenton’s 9-hole Ladies Bronze League begins play on Monday, April 7, at 2 pm.
This is a fun group of golfers with varied skill levels who enjoy playing nine holes and partaking in the social part of golf after the round.
Some crazy games are played each week, which don’t require a handicap.
Being a Bronze League member allows you to visit other courses for fun interclub play.
The cost for the year is $30. Non-Mount Brenton members pay an additional $30 guest member fee each week.
The league runs from April to the end of September.

League scramble dates: June 3 and Sept. 22.

18-hole Ladies League
Play takes place on Thursday mornings, starting at 9 am on April 12, and costs $40 for the season.
A handicap is needed, but we will give you time to get one and help with this process. You can also play interclub matches and zone games as a league member.
It’s a great way to meet other women golfers and, by doing so, develop new friendships.
Not a Mount Brenton member? No problem; you’re still welcome to join our league. We believe in inclusivity and welcome all women golfers. The guest green fee is $60, a discounted rate compared to the regular $67.
The league starts in April and concludes at the end of September.

League scramble dates: May 1 and Oct. 2.

The Sunday Men’s League begins on April 6 at 8 am and continues until September.
There is a $7 charge per week for league games. The field will be divided into low- and high-handicap players, allowing all participants to win prizes. Winners will receive their rewards the following week. Everyone must have a BCGA handicap or be working towards obtaining one. The league encourages golfers to play with different members each week, providing a fun way to learn competitive golf.
Guests are welcome and will pay the $60 member/guest green fee. Like the Wednesday Senior Men’s League, at least 24 golfers must tee off each Sunday.

Mount Brenton Sunday Ladies
League play begins on April 6 and runs through the end of September. There is a $20 league fee, which goes towards prizes awarded at our year-end windup. We play various games each week, and those who wish to participate pay $3 each week. After our round, we gather at the Mount Brenton Pub for social time, tally our scores, and distribute the prize money for that week. Additionally, we have an optional ringer board competition that lasts until the end of the season, with prizes awarded at the year’s conclusion.
Would you be interested in joining us? Come out and give us a try! You’ll enjoy golf and share a few laughs with a fantastic group of ladies. We have a good mix of high and low handicaps, so everyone is welcome. Non-Mount Brenton members pay a guest green fee of $60, excluding taxes, reduced from the full prime-time rate of $67. We can’t wait to meet you!

The Tuesday Night Mixed 2-Ball league will continue again in 2025. This league intends to socialize, have fun, and meet other members while enjoying a round of mixed 2-Ball. Everyone is welcome.
The league starts Tuesday, May 6, with a modified shotgun starting at 4:30 pm.
As has been the practice in the past, we will require the first three tees to be available for a modified shotgun start at 4:30 p.m. each Tuesday beginning May 6, 2025.
